Artist's Statement

Decades old dried flowers from my recently found herbarium regain life and remind us of lost innocence, precious dreams, former selves, and those tender presences in our lives. Fables are told with each image reborn from the past, of dusty old personal negatives lighted again from a forgotten box. Homage is given to all that is family, for we are the sum of our past.
